Interaction Design students collaborated with VW/ERL to redefine mobility and what it means for future generations. Students were asked to identify mobility trends that are unique to the bay area, such as “casual carpooling”, [Google bus], Uber mobile app and parking spot sharing. They then used these opportunities to propose systemic solutions to help Audi redefine mobility in the years to come.
Learning objectives included:
– Understanding multiple touch points (systemic complexity)
– Applying user research methodology towards experience design (insights)
– Developing systemic design strategy (experience design ecosystem)
– Applying brand to designed experiences (experience design principles)
– Developing tangible concept communication (prototyping & presentation)
